About Us
A stunning 17th century coaching inn houses our privately owned 4 AA Stars country pub, restaurant, hotel and coffee shop. The Fox and Hounds is situated overlooking the village green in the heart of one of Britain’s most picturesque villages, Exton in Rutland.
Rutland is a stunning county with lots to do and see, in particular, Rutland Water, which brings visitors to Rutland all year round.
The Fox and Hounds is a great stop off to sit down, relax and enjoy excellent food, drinks or even an overnight stay. The three en-suite hotel bedrooms are elegantly styled with an excellent finish and house an eclectic mix of furnishings, which bring interest and a touch of glamour to all the rooms.
In the winter, pull up a chair and sip your favourite tipple around a real log fire, or spoil yourself with real homemade food in our beautiful, elegantly and romantically finished restaurant.
In the summer enjoy a bite to eat and a cooling drink with friends and soak up the sunshine in our stunning English country garden.
